October Road opens with high school grad Nick (Bryan Greenberg) heading off to Europe for a few weeks of freedom and discovery before he's to return to his widowed father (Tom Berenger) and girlfriend Hannah (Laura Prepon). Best friend Eddie (Geoff Stults) is expecting him to help start their window-washing business. Instead, Nick writes a sharp-tongued novel about his town and the people in it, gains fame and ditches the past -- until he's brought back a decade later by a bout of writer's block.

One Tree Hill fans should look out for Bryan Greenberg, and also Lee Norris. No, I haven't watched it so I don't know if it's good, but I say let's all give it a shot. It's Bryan Greenberg! Gotta love him. I suppose the show is like Men In Trees, but younger. There're some comparisons to Everwood as well. Given the many fast-paced, serialized drama that have been served up to us this season, a nice little show such as this should be refreshing. I will probably give a full review of this after I watched, if I'm not too caught up with Supernatural. (YAY NEW EPISODE) Heh.
