3: I prefer private fanning over the mass fanning that occurs elsewhere. It suits me just fine to discuss with only three people about Twilight.
Mind you, I've never really gotten into the fandom, except for like seven days before I realised most of them don't have their wits about them.
I'm still somewhat excited though over the fourth book and the movie, although the latter only because it's the kind of thing I'd have a good giggle over how well/badly they managed to transition it.

I still find it alarming that I read Twilight and loved it about 3 years ago before New Moon even came out and it seemed to be such a quiet little book that I forgot about it until recently.

Private fanning is good. I got my best friend into the books, so I mostly just talk to her about it. I was in the fandom in the earlier days, good times. Now it's batshit crazy. I honestly don't need 87528037013 icon posts with the same few pictures.

I'm strangely excited about the movie as well. I fear I'll laugh through half of it. =D

3 years? Wow, I had no idea it had been around for that long!

Yeah, I know one rabid teen-fan and I don't often get into discussions with her, except for how the movie looks to be panning out.
However, I know about five other level headed people who've read it and have varying degrees of fanaticism. And most of them will sit through my rambles about vampirism being a virus and moas tasting like chicken.

It came out in 2005.
