one; Supernatural torrent, where are you? eta (here!)

two; New header! Made for me by the awesome [livejournal.com profile] tehjules. Actually, she made it for me a while back, but I have been so busy. Thank you so much, dear. Love it.

three; Didn't get a chance to review any of my shows. As I've said, busy busy busy. It's crazy. Gonna do some now, and I will try to review today's Supernatural, promise. And apologies for not commenting these days. I do my best. Sorry!

four; Didn't have a chance to do my full Supernatural review post. Damnit. But some random thoughts about it. Well, Dean looks good, as always. But I don't know, the whole I'm-dying-so-I'm-doing-shit, the whole disimpassioned attitude, it's throwing me off. Even the speech at the end didn't feel too right; it felt too abrupt, too short. What was Dean thinking? What was Sam thinking? More angst, please. But it was a good episode. I love the monster-of-the-week. Seven sins, genius. And about the doom! aspect. I'm still reserving judgement for Ruby. I need to see more of her before I decide.

five; I absolutely love Gossip Girl. It's the ultimate "girly evil". Blair Waldorf is ♥. Everyone's about dan/serena, and yes, they're cute. But I think I have a new favorite ship; dan/blair (see icon for proof of awesomeness). They're the new Ryan/Summer, except with even better chemistry. But I think that ship is not gonna get any. Bah. So what's your ship? I saw some chuck/blair people out there. I adore them too. Well, basically, I'm just gonna ship everyone everywhere except with Nate. Loser.

six; Friday Night Lights; hands-down, best drama on TV right now. Yes, I'm still utterly in love with Supernatural, but FNL is just different. In terms of realism and human emotions, the writers and cast of FNL nail it, especially the actors. Oh man. Respect. Connie Britton's breakdown scene? Stunning. And Adrianne and Jesse. Whoa. I'm not sure I like their storyline, but they make it worth it. And I kinda like that Matt/Julie aren't the perfect couple. It's just more real that way. They'll work out eventually. Still hating Lyla though. If you're not watching this show, why the hell not?!

seven; House is really good. Really. The first episode; so much House/Wilson goodies. The second; Chase, I love you. Number 6/9, you're cool too. The third; Chase, I still love you. And House, you are crazy. And unscrupulous bitch, you are kind of awesome. And Cameron, the hair, do something. Retired ducklings, please all come back.

eight; Prison Break. One word: NO. But I like the whole breaking-out scheming, just like the first season. And Sucre helping out from the outside, FTW. But still: NO.

nine; I'm still unsure about Grey's Anatomy. At times, I like it, but other times, it's plain dumb. Yes. George/Izzie was actually kinda sweet at times, but sometimes, they're just revolting, especially when Callie is involved. Mark/Derek scenes are absolutely precious though. And I love the Alex/Cristina interaction at the end of 4.01. Couldn't care less about Derek/Meredith. Lexie is boring. And all the new spoilers flowing in aren't making me excited. Oh well.

ten; As for Smallville, Lana, die already. Lex, you're weird. But I'm liking Kara so far. And I love all the Clark/Chloe scenes. The new Daily Planet's editor made me really angry though. How can he snub Chloe like that? But I'm guessing that's what Chloe needed. And really, Chloe gave up on her meteor stories because of Clark. And Green Arrow, you're coming back, aren't you? Yay!

eleven; Bones. Still loving Booth/Brennan. The coffee scene at the end of 3.01 was darling. And the premiere case was really cool. I like that it's gonna be an arc. Seems like a very interesting case.

twelve; Watched the indie Irish film, Once. It truly is stunning in its beauty. If you like music, watch it.
Music:: radiohead; videotape
Mood:: 'satisfied' satisfied

heylo m'dear! excellent header :)

need to start spn d/l...

I'm really hoping we get gossip girl over here soon, it looks like a great premise, and I've seen the "cw sneak peak" things, that someone thankfully uploaded onto youtube (since the cw's following in the bbc's footsteps and refusing trailers to any non-US-ers)

Why won't Lana STAY.DEAD? Seriously...this is like...the nineteenth time she's been dead, the audience has sighed a great sigh of relief and then up she pops! like a crappy little cockroach...!

I hope you get it there too. It's really a guilty pleasure. =)

I KNOW. Bah. It's so annoying. Her character has seriously outlived its usefulness, like, 3 seasons ago.

I like Gossip girl but I don't love it. But I still watch every week.:P

I still like Grey's and I still watch.

So far I'm liking Ruby better than Jo.(I'm watching episode 2 of this season right now.)

Yeah, I'm gonna keep watching both too.

Haven't seen Ep 2 yet. Gonna watch it in a while. Maybe I'll like her.

Yeaah.I've been liking some parts of Grey's. Not that I hate other moments of the show this season. I was getting too tired last night to watch Grey's. I tried.lol

I'll shh about Ruby than because I watched the second episode.lol.

I'll take what I can get with a condensed post - but I totally look forward to your regular SPN treatment after watching 4.02 - I have a feeling you'll be inspired anyway. ;)

Totally agree on all of the shows we share: FNL, House, and of course SPN - not so much on SV, but my negative history with that show has biased me to any new directions and such. I'm still suffering threw it though, hopefully for the last year.

Missed You! *hugs*

Looking forward to watch it, as once as I finish up my project stuff. Bah.

About SV, well, hang in there.

Missed you too! ♥ ♥

I'm done with PB it pissed me off too much, not just the box thing either, Mahone on drugs is stupid, and Teddy's been too much of a bitch, I mean he did kill that guy so that was like him but idk I'm through, I'll still be reading your reviews on that show to see what happens though..
idk about Ruby she reminds me a little too much of what Jo should have been...
I like 13, I felt so bad for her...And I loved when House told Wilson "I love you..."

posted by [identity profile] somersaulter.livejournal.com at 03:52pm on 12/10/2007
I agree with you on PB. Things have been sucky on that show. And I hate that woman villian Linc is dealing with. But I'm still gonna watch for Michael and Sucre. Will keep you informed. =)

Hm, I heard she's in this week's episode, right? Haven't watched it yet. Will review it later and tell you what I think about her.

Yay Olivia Wilde! Yeah, I like her too. And House/Wilson. Seriously FTW. =D

WORD! It's just amazing. I'm not really liking Tyra & Landry's storyline, because they've just fucked up their lives beyond compare, (and how can they be so stupid!) but their acting is top-notch so I buy it. And I completely agree with you about Connie's scene. I was crying too.

posted by [identity profile] somersaulter.livejournal.com at 03:56pm on 12/10/2007
Exactly! The acting is what sets the show apart from all the stupid dramas out there. This is one of the few shows that really tug at my heartstrings. The cast should really have been nominated in the Emmys. Bah.

I'm 100% with you about Dean's attitude and speech at the end of #301... it left me a little "WTF???" Well, I know for sure we haven't heard the last of it, I'm looking forward a more complex insight into his feelings :)

About Smallville: all the Lex&Lana parts were so boring. I can't believe Lex is so obsessed with her. I don't know if it's just me or what, but I think even M. Rosenbaum is sick of what his character has become and it shows on his acting too :(
I like Kara too! At leas she's something new and refreshing to look forward too in the non-Lois episodes :D

Yup, saw your post on it, but didn't have the time to stop and commment, so sorry!

Looking forward to more Winchester angst too! (Okay, that sounded kinda sadistic.)

Hm, you're right. Michael Rosenbaum seems a little lethargic in his acting in these few episodes, like he's barely trying. I need Lex to be evil again. Evil!Lex was hotter, and much more interesting. And I agree about Kara. It's gonna be interesting watching Clark trying to teach her stuff about earth. Hee.

House was good! I'm getting into the new season! I was really interested in Foreman's business. Him getting fired was not expected, but totally makes sense. He was trained by the best, to take chances and risks to save lives...that "Good work team :D" bull crap doesn't work! Chase is LOVE and I was so so sad by the guy and his dog who dies ;____; I'll be interested in seeing how everything develops. Foreman is bound to end up somewhere!!

Prison Break - ;_______;

Greys - So so so so so confused with this season...but I'm still in it. Which is more than I can say about Prison Break.

Yeah, I wonder how the ducklings are returning to House's team (if they do at all) and which of the newbies are staying.

I was about to give up on PB, but Michael/Sucre won me back at that very last scene. That secret grin at the end, so adorable! I love Sucre.

As for Grey's, I don't know too. But it's still entertaining. =D

Wow that's a lot of shows. I enjoyed reading your reviews (of the shows I watch). I ship Dan/Serena, I think they are really cute together. Other than that I don't really mind, except Chuck kinda creeps me out. I don't think I'll ever get over how he acted in the pilot. Out of all the characters I enjoy the interaction between Dan and Jenny the most, they are the perfect brother and sister and their relationship is so believable.

New FNL tonight! *dances* It's so good, I really enjoyed the season opener except for the end of it but I hope they'll move past that soon.

I know. I watch too much TV. That's why I never have time to do anything else.

I'm loving Dan/Serena more and more too. Although I always love a little angst in my ships, they're too adorable not to like. Chuck kinda creeps me out too, but I have a feeling his character will develop into something more interesting.

And FNL is the best. 'Nuff said.

The only part of this I could read without spoilers was the Supernatural review. Reserving judgment on Ruby is a good idea, too many people are so quick to hate her for just being there. And I sort of felt that way too, like the episode could have been so much more emotional, but it just didn't quite feel right.

Hopefully I'll be able to catch up on some more shows soon and comment on the rest of this post later. :)

I love the new header!

And now we know about Ruby. I'm still not quite sure how I feel, but at least it's a twist.

Thanks! I love it too. =)

That movie sounds fascinating. I'll have to watch our film channels to see if it's there.

Gossip Girl: I like everyone except Chuck. He does have his good qualities as the last episode presented. Rufus is totally hot.

I hope you get to see it. It has been weeks and I still can't quite get over it. The soundtrack is awesome.

Oh yes, Rufus is totally hot.
