keep in mind these are preliminary promo shots. most times on films, they do character test shots, to try out hair, makeup and costumes and how they look on camera. This isn't necessarily how they will look when they start filming.

I do think they have done quite a good job with Nikki Reed. She looks completely different. Hair could be better, but it could be a lot worse too!

Jasper's hair needs to fixing FAST! It looks like a dead animal curled up there.

Yeah, I certainly hope they will look much better in the real movie. And yeah, I was quite surprised, I didn't recognize Nikki Reed at all, which is good, I suppose.
