transformers
Is the most awesome movie this summer.
Yes. I don't even think the upcoming Harry Potter flick can top it. And it is definitely way more entertaining that Pirates or Ocean's or Spidey. Yes, Transformers is that awesome.
Disclaimer: I'm not a hard-core Transformers fan, so I can't tell you if it is true to the original stuff.
The reason I got interested in the movie is Josh Duhamel, and then I read up more on Transformers and it just got cooler and cooler, and eventually, it became my most anticipated summer blockbuster. And it doesn't disappoint. The movie start with a bang and the momentum just carries you through the entire 140 minutes. Michael Bay seemed to know exactly what he was doing. The bots and the battle sequences were all visually stunning and I love the sound effects. It has the right blend of action, drama, humor, along with the subtle romance between the two leads, enough to make the general movie-goers happy and keep the fanboys from freaking out. It is ultimately all about the robots, not the romance. Although Shia was absolutely lovable in his lead role, and Josh was absolutely HOT.
Also, TV fans, check out all the sweet cameos. Las Vegas's Danny McCoy (obviously). Prison Break's Fernando Sucre (oh how I missed his Spanish). Supernatural's Mary Winchester (ever the loving wife and mother). One Tree Hill's Jimmy Edwards (still as geeky).
So yeah, I'm probably gonna go catch it in theaters a second time next week.

For the past several weeks I've been obsessed with it. I loved Transformers growing up, and the movie looks so intense, not like a lame little sequel like Teenage mutant Ninja Turtles. God, I can't wait! Except I'm really worried Micheal Bay is going to screw everything up. But I've read up on most of the changes he's made, so I think I'm prepared. You're right, Josh is extremely hot.
And I'm so jealous that you've already seen it! I have to wait until next week!

I wasn't really into it as a kid, so I can't really tell you how it is compared to the old stuff, but go with an open mind. I think you would really enjoy it. ;)

I know what movie I'm seeing next in theaters.

This somehow makes me very giddy, even though I'm a secret romantic at heart.

Yeah, I'm kinda a romantic at heart too, but if they made it into a romance movie, I would have been so pissed. I'm sure all the fanboys out there would too. ;)
