Prison Break 2.22 - Sona

*rewatches* It's the season finale yo.

1. Love the flashback to the first season. They truly have come a long way.

2. It's weird that the court just accepted Kellerman's testimony. There was no other hard evidence aside from his statement, which could come from any raving conspiracy buff. If I would in that court, I would probably laugh at the sheer absurdity. Either the prosecution lawyer sucks, or hey, it's just TV. And Lincoln's exonerated! Finally! (Why didn't the court discuss Michael?)

3. Uh, why isn't Sucre arrested? Because it's out of FBI's jurisdiction?

4. I always thought Mahone would cross Kim to help the brothers, but he ended up double-crossing everyone. Ha.

5. *sighs* See ya on the other side, Kellerman. (By other side, I mean Addison's side.) I love that he didn't die in vain though. He saved Sara and Lincoln, and messed up The Company pretty badly.

6. "She's very pretty." "Not the boat, señor." ♥ Oh MiSa! And the brothers being free, Michael helping Linc out of the handcuffs (love the symbolism), and thinking about how they never need to run again (for about one minute).

7. "Oh, that's sweet, you don't hear that much anymore, that sort of fidelity in family, two brothers that would go to the ends of the earth for each other." Oh Kimmy, haven't you watched Supernatural, The Black Donnelly or Heroes?

8. Yay for Sara shooting down Kim. But MiSa, you two are breaking my heart. The 'love yous', the hugs, the sacrifice. Although, don't people listen to reason in Panama? It couldn't possibly be anyone's fault that Sara shot Kim. It was self-defense. He was gonna kill Linc. And isn't there supposed to be a trial of some kind? Shouldn't he be first thrown in where Bellick and T-Bag were at first?

9.
I kinda feel sorry for Mahone. His little scene at the phone was sad. All he wanted was to keep his family safe. At the end of it, he isn't that different from Michael. He would do anything for them, even leaving them to protect them.

10. "He's gonna break out. It's in his blood." "That's exactly what we want him to do." *confused liek whoa* Research facility in Long Island? White lab coats? And Sona? So it refers to the district in Panama? The hellhole of a prison. It made Fox River look like a fluffy happy place with sunflowers. What kinda of a place is that? Why is Bellick curling rotting on the ground. Is T-Bag there? So Mahone is there too? And Sucre, he's obviously not in there, odd one out there, with Linc and Sara too. And Sara is obviously not disappearing yet. I suppose she would make one last appearance in the season premiere this fall and get kidnapped or something so Sarah Wayne Callies can go have her baby. And how is Michael gonna break out? As Linc put it, Michael doesn't even take a piss without a plan. He went into Fox River armed with his tattoos, now he got nothing. And what is the Pad Man (General) doing, researching breakouts, human behavior, soldiers?

I have no idea what is in store for next season. Actually I have an idea, but it sucks, I expect Paul T. Scheuring to come out with something a lot more spectacular. Thanks.

Have Michael, Mahone, Bellick and T-Bag break out together. That's fun.

BYE MICHAEL. SEE YA IN THE FALL.

I dunno... I felt a little disappointed in that finale. Like, it was exciting and all, but some things just seemed inconsistent. The FBI and the company can't find Michael, but Sara just shows up on that boat? Or was that in the message that Michael left for her....

And they don't have blood transfusions in Panama? Come on Sucra... whatserface (maricruz?) is going to die... dontcha think you ought to pick your ass up out of the street and head back to Mexico?

The ending was confusing -- kinda cool but they could get way too into the whole conspiracy thing if they don't plan it out right.

Personally, I don't think Kellerman got bumped.. but maybe, because I think he's signed to a new show in the fall? Speaking of... what am I going to watch on Monday nights now? Oh TBD I would watch you... if you weren't on at ten PM... that is just too late for me.

:D

Well, I felt it lacked the suspense and thrill of the season 1 finale, but nevertheless, I guess it was interesting in its own way.

About Sara and the boat, yeah, that was definitely inconsistent. It was tucked away in such a secluded area.

Prison Break has always been unrealistic, but not too off. I really hope they don't run away with their imagination too. A big crazy government scientific experiment conspiracy would be, well, crazy.

Yeah, he got a new show. The Grey's Anatomy spin-off. It's kinda tentative, so maybe he could come back if the new one doesn't work out. But given the hype around the spin-off, I doubt that.

By the way, I'm not at all familiar with the American TV programming. What are they gonna show in PB's timeslot now?

Looks like they have an episode of House slated for next week. I doubt that will last for the rest of the season though since they already have House on Tuesday and Friday.

Ah.. Kellerman. As much as I hated him at times... he was sorta hot. hehe ;D

Yeah everytime we watch the show I have to listen to my husband go on about how this or that couldnt happen. I just roll my eyes at him. It's TeeVee honey, not reality. Oh well, at least I convinced him to watch SPN now!

It's weird that the court just accepted Kellerman's testimony

Plus, didn't Kim mention at one point that Kellerman was like "erased from the books" or something? I remember him saying that Kellerman wouldn't be able to prove he even worked for them. Or something like that. I don't know, I've suspended a lot of disbelief for this show before, I can do it again!

Oh Kimmy, haven't you watched Supernatural, The Black Donnelly or Heroes?

Damn, but there is a lot of brotherly love going on TV this year! I love it!

Oh yeah, he did erase him. But oh well, as you said, suspending disbelief.

Hee. I just saw an article linked on my flist about TV's Best Brothers (http://www.stltoday.com/stltoday/entertainment/columnists.nsf/gailpennington/story/24B3C9F432F24738862572AE00827ACF?OpenDocument). Prison Break, Supernatural, Brothers and Sisters, and Heroes are all mentioned. =D

this ep pushed reality a bit too far. there is nothing real about this show, aside from the love between two brothers, so i don't usually think about it. but yeah, kellerman's testimony was a bit far-fetched. and even sara going to trial that quickly. but the good thing is linc is free. though it doesn't feel like it. ok, i'm glad i'm not the only person who saw bellick on the floor of that prison place. sure didn't take him long to become someone's bitch. heh.

as for next season, i have some not so good thoughts about what is going to happen too. but i'll wait and see. cause you just can't give up on michael and sara!

Yeah, this show is always pushing reality a bit too much, but I guess that's the attraction. =P

I'm still holding on for the new season. I really hope it doesn't suck.

yeah, i think the unrealness of the show makes it more entertaining. then the honesty of the feelings between characters makes it more real and more entertaning.

i hope it doesn't suck too!

2. There were documents, apparently.

3. Sucre wasn't caught was he?

5. I think Kellerman's story is left open, based on whether the Grey's spinoff succeeds or not.

10. I'm very confused by the ending. What kind of a hell hole is that Sona? It's like my worst nightmare realized.

2. Ah I see, but shouldn't it take quite some time for them to be authenticated? But oh well, this show has never been all that realistic anyway. =P

3. I don't think so? The last of him was him passing out on the pavement.

5. True, but given the publicity and the hype surrounding it, I say it's a good chance Kellerman is gone for good.

10. Yeah, I'm confused too. It's crazy.

LOL, that's exactly the directions my thoughts on that scene wandered off to too ;D

Have Michael, Mahone, Bellick and T-Bag break out together. That's fun.
That would in fact be a nice little twist. Well, as of now, I'm still a little confused as to what that Sona will have in store for Micheal but I'm sure the writers have something nice planned for next season. Meh, first show to go on summer hiatus, I'll miss it.

Hee. ♥

Yeah, I hope they don't go down the crazy scientific experiment road. That would be really insane, more than the show already is. =P

I was thinking that this finale was really good, until the end. And it's all beacause of the Fox. They wanted a 3rd season, and they've got one. But the idea sucks more than a lot, Sco' in prison, AGAIN, and breaking out, AGAIN ?!! And "Sona", well, the idea sucks too, they wanted the bros' dead, and like 2sec after, they want them alive. Well, they seem really smart...

I felt really sorry for Mahone too. Almost cried. Almost.

*A disappointed sOkets.*

Yeah, the producers themselves said it was only supposed to be a two-season thing. If only Michael and Sara could sail off and live happily ever after. =(

Yep, for a moment I really thought Linc/Sco/Sara were going to leave Panama in that boat !
