My university applications are about done, except for the financial aid and bursary applications, which I need my parents' tax statements for. Hopefully I won't change my mind at the last minute. Knowing me, that's kinda impossible. *sighs*
BUT THEY'RE NOT DEAD. Oh man. Worst way to die, being buried alive. I was completely horrified when Nikki threw that spider at Paulo, because that was when I realized he wasn't dead. I was wondering why Nikki ended up that way too 'cos Paulo squashed the spider, but I guess Nikki wasn't listening to Artz. The pheromones released when Paulo squashed that spider must have attracted the other spiders. Talk about bad luck.
And "paralyzed"! That was what she said. Damn.
Nice to see Shannon and Boone again, but too little and too hyped up. It fell a little short of expectations. I hardly even saw Boone's face for more than 10 seconds. Although, did they re-film the entire crash scene? The budget would have be large, re-creating that scene and making everyone look the way they did back then. It was very nostalgic though. That was more than 2 years ago (for us). Makes me wanna re-watch the first season 'cos I honestly forgot the stuff. Boone stole the water because? He didn't want people to get too comfortable?

But. From the Lost Podcast, "Cuse and Lindelof revealed in the latest podcast: This episode is set to answer a big mythological question. The gay character will appear in "Exposé." Erm, were we watching the same episode? What big mythological question? Oh, I know! The monster is the spider! And Desmond is gay 'cos he's watching Sawyer all the time! Wait, there's Penny. D'oh! Thwarted!

Interesting and creepy and cool episode, but it honestly serves only as a filler. Can we go back to The Others' camp now?

Lost 3.14 - Exposé

I have both Lost and FNL downloaded already but I haven't watched them. It feels wrong to watch TV shows when the weather is so nice. Not that I intend to go outside or anything... But I will wait until the evening to watch them.
LOL, I have divided my icon space between my main fandoms so you're not the only one who counts icons ;) I did it months ago because I realized that whenever I became obsessed with a new fandom I deleted too many of my old icons. So now I think I have 20 VM, 20 Sophia/OTH (not that I watch OTH), 30 GA, 23 The Office and then the rest is for random/stock/GG/Heroes/FNL.

OMG I did the counting-icons thing too!!! Well I only did it for 2 fandoms cos its not like I have a lotta icons from the others. I counted and I think I had like 32 OTH icons (except then I uploaded more :P) Well I was actually surprised that the most icons I had were of OTH. Haha mm gosh no wonder Im CONSTANTLY

You NEED some Lost iconage. I have made some, but most of mine are from others. You can check out my user pics if you like, I think I have snagged from some of the better makers I have found in the fandom. If you go to my userpics, they are all like 1/2 way down the page, cause mine are entered alphabetically by fandom... No, I don't obsess in the least.
I was expecting one death, the fact that BOTH of the new useless people bought it was like a special bonus from TPTB. All useless characters should share that fate. Painful/spooky/weird death - even better. Muahahahaha.
DITTO on the Shannon & Boone thing. That was a tease. Honestly, they could have just trimmed them into the episode using old footage from the crash - but I guess both Maggie and Ian were free and wanted to come back to Hawaii. You know, since they really loved it there and the cast. Sorry, I'm just still VERY bitter about both of their deaths. I know, I know. It's been like 2 years for Magically Delicious, but dammit - I DO! *sob*
I enjoyed the Sawyer story line tremedously. I think living with the others has softened him or taught him a lesson. Now, I liked my Sawyer bad - but anytime a character evolves because of reasons we see it can't be a bad thing. Not entirely. Him tossing the diamonds over the grave was a huge character thing for him I think. Maybe he is finally either not thinking they will get off the island or doesn't want to. I mean, this is a man who used to hoard everything not nailed down of any value isn't it? Yes.
I think they green screened her into all of the big action shots and just filmed her direct contact with the other survivors. I would love to see a 'making of' this episode on the DVD though. JJ Abrams did the pilot, and I have seen the behind the scenes on that one. They said they shot TONS more stuff then they ended up using because it was just so expensive to set up that crash scene and stuff. I mean, that stuff with Jack's 'live together/die alone ' speech looked like they just used a different camera angle from the heaps of old footage.
Next weeks looks totally awesome. Chick fight! Woot!

Guh. I was such a Shannon/Boone lover back then. Their story had such wonderful potential. I'm still bitter too! But it was still wonderful to see them back. I really wish they could still fit into some other backstory somehow. *sighs*
Oh yes, Sawyer is definitely my fave character on that show. At first it was purely *ahem* superficial reasons, but I really grew to love the character. I love his backstory in prison and the daughter storyline. The diamond thing was definitely a wonderful character thing. Even I was thinking, 8 million? Keep it idiots, you might get off the island someday. The world still sucks for the poor out here. But oh well, heh.
Ah, makes sense. Green screen technology nowadays is crazy. But it's definitely nice to revisit those scenes.

And I don't think the monster has a part in the spiders thing. Some guys think they heard the monster in that scene, but they probably thought they heard the monster.

LOL. I think it was mostly just a filler episode. I really wanna know the truth about the monster though. Either that or give us more revelations about the Others. I hate dragged out mysteries.
