One Tree Hill 4.11 - Everything In Its Right Place
Nothing interesting in this episode, just serves to fill up 40 minutes in TV land. Okay, that sounds really bad. But the last 2 episodes had been such an emotional ride that this new one seems kinda boring in comparison. Maybe I got spoiled by fast moving shows like Heroes and Prison Break.
Okay. Let's try that again. All in all, not too bad an episode. Haley was unbelievably sweet, especially when she was talking about talking to Daunte's family. That guy ran her over and nearly killed her baby, accident or otherwise, and she still wants to make his family feel better. I'm glad Nathan told her the truth though. It was something he needed to do for both of them to move on from the ordeal. "Why is it that it's so much easier to forgive a stranger than it is to forgive someone you love?" I love that line. And more Lucas/Haley. I love that friendship there. And Nathan's speech in the end made me tear up a little, but I guess this kinda paves the way for the big bad spoiler, mentioning what a jerk Nathan was before Haley. I wasn't a Naley fan to start with in Season 1, but everything happening in the later part of last season and this season have definitely changed my view. They have their issues, but everything ends up good, because, as Haley puts it, it's true love. I can't wait to see them with Nathan Jr. That would be so adorable.
Mouth/Gigi was cute. I still don't get Gigi though. She's always so ridiculously cheerful. Did she break up with Mouth because she didn't want to get hurt? Does she think it's not worth it to try the long distance thing? Does she not love Mouth enough to try? Does she hide behind her cheerfulness? Or does she really not care that much? Hm. Definitely an interesting character.
Wearing identical cat suit to steal things? This is not a movie. (It's a TV show though.) Point is, how much more of a tool can they be? And the principal actually letting them off? Brooke is so obviously getting busted for that test in the future. I hope Stephen Coletti can give her a better storyline next week. That 'Clean Teens' thing was kinda funny though.
As a Lucas/Peyton fan, I must say I didn't like this episode as much as I should. The whole Peyton 'I kill everyone I love' was getting ridiculously old in my opinion, but yes, I'm still a Peyton fan. But I guess it's something that must be addressed in the show, since it's kinda true that Peyton drives a lot of people in her life away, her fault or otherwise. Now that there's out of the way, gimme more Lucas/Peyton lovin'! All the kissing was adorable. We need more of that.
So Dan is really honestly good now? Okay, perfect timing to let everyone know that he killed Keith. Who do you think is the one redecorating Dan's workplace and apartment?
All in all, yes, not too bad an episode. 6/10, I'd say. Plus an extra point for the Naley and Leyton lovin' and the awesome music.

And OMG. Maria Taylor has a new album, Lynn Teeter Flower! It will be released in March. I didn't even know that. She (and Azure Ray) is one of my favorite female vocalists of all times. I just listened to her new songs and it's amazing. I uploaded some of my favorite tracks.
No Stars | Lost Time | Clean Getaway
I love No Stars. My favorite track right now. If anyone wants the entire album I can get it up. Gosh, she's so amazingly talented.

And I did read what you wrote about it, I really couldn't care less about waiting until I watch the episode to find out what happens. LOL I'm glad there were cute Naley scenes, that's like the only part I find remotely enjoyable these days.

Well, there's nothing much to be spoiled on anyway. And I agree, the Naley stuff are the only good stuff, especially in this episode.

I'm gonna try those Maria songs. Thanks!

But I don't see why someone outside the gang would torture him?

It's kinda sad that it's gonna happen though. I'm not fan of Dan. He still sucks. But I have to feel a little sorry for him. Finally he's trying to do the right thing for a change, but then.

But you're right, I'm confused because I don't see who it could be. Apart from Whitey. I don't think it's Rachel, Skills or Marcus.

They never give Rachel & Brooke good storylines.lol But I'm ok with that.
Their tryin' make Dan a redeemable character. Every show does that to evil characters.lol

i hated how peyton thought she caused lucas' heart attack, it just makes her seem...egotistical in a way? yeah thats the word ;].
i didn't like the notebook-esque kiss in the end; too much PDA to handle CMM wise. [I'm not a CMM fan.]
naley was okay for me. i didn't like haley this episode cause i thought she was being a bitch for moving out. seriously, ONE lie and POOF there she goes. good luck with motherhood girlie.
i did tear up at nathan's speech, LOL. I remember that I also was not a HUGE naley fan in the begining of season onr but i ended up ADORING it by the middle of it, and then hated haley.
the character of haley is not one of my favorites, nor is lucas, peyton, or rachel.
seriously, how did mr.turner just let them go? i know he's knows somethings up!
i think it's whitey. in an earlier episode, when dan's wall had all that bible gobbledygook on it, whitey knew what it was, but at times it hink it's mouth.
dan's an asshole and deserves anything he gets =D.

I won't really blame Haley for reacting the way she did. She did just survived a horrible ordeal, and she has a kid inside of him, ergo, raging hormones, ergo, mood swings. At least she took Nathan back. =)
Whitey and Mouth are definitely on top of my list of possible people.

I'm excited for next weeks episode!
