Sigh, yeah, the pacific DVD pretty much pulled me in too. I'd been vaguely aware of JE and I'd sort of liked KAT-TUN, but pacific (which is NEWS, wtf) pretty much thrust me well into the fandom. Looking back at my entries is pretty funny because you can see right where I fell.
