no more mars

Veronica Mars axed.

Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo...

I know it's kinda expected, but I was still wildly optimistic. And Rob Thomas said he was gonna treat this finale as a season finale and not a series finale. So has it been filmed? Are they gonna reshoot? They have to reshoot. Take back all the random couples and give LoVe the happy ending. Or I will stab someone.

ETA: Oh well, at least it's not the last we see of Kristen Bell. Bell has lined up the title role in "Forgetting Sarah Marshall," a feature romantic comedy set up at Universal.

ETA: WTF.

I just heard from Veronica mastermind and showrunner Rob Thomas, who tells me, "If we're cancelled, I certainly don't know about it."

Though Rob did not say anything further, inside sources at the CW have explained to me a more detailed version of the situation: According to network insiders, the CW has not officially canceled Veronica Mars. However, they are currently considering a different format for the fourth season. That format would leap four years into the future and focus on Veronica Mars as an FBI agent.

I hate that Kristin Veitch. This is like, what, the 10th time she had been wrong about something. She was the one who claimed reliable sources had that Jack was getting killed off Lost, which later turned out to be nowhere near the truth. Argh.

I can't take this up and down rollercoaster ride of emotions. And now FBI agent format? What? I can't... what?

Yeah, but then the CW ordered an additional 7 more, pushing it up to almost a full season and people were more assured about its future, but more have been complaining about the quality of season 3, and the ratings are bad. Enjoy season 2 while it last. Season 3 is really not as good.

I have no idea how it's gonna be like as a FBI show. Honestly I can't see Kristen Bell carrying it off, but who knows.

Yes, they did, didn't they. :/ Its weird, I guess they figured that after those extra 7 eps it still wasn't up to par. :(

Man, its a shame...I heard season 3 was a downer. Hopefully they will show it here immediately after season 2 ends. I'd rather see it all now than have to wait to see season 3.

Yeah it just goes against her whole spunky highs chool girl/college girl personality. :/
