My theory for TMNT is that the creators put a list of nouns and adjectives in a hat and pulled four out. "'teenage'.... great... 'mutant'... exciting already... 'ninja'... ooh, kids'll love that.... 'turtles'. What the--? ....nonononono we CAN make it work! *handflail*"

I used to love the show when I was a kid, but it was 10 kinds of crack and then some. XD
